Netanyahu Rejects Rift Reports With Trump, Says Israel and U.S. Remain Aligned on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected reports of a rift with U.S. President Donald Trump, saying Israel and the United States remain aligned on their core objectives regarding Iran.

Speaking exclusively to Fox News, Netanyahu said he and Trump agree on about 99% of issues, despite differences over Washington’s efforts to pursue a broader nuclear agreement with Tehran.

Netanyahu took a hard line on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, vowing that Tehran will never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.

“But I can tell you this, deal or no deal, as long as I’m prime minister, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon,” Netanyahu told host Jacqui Heinrich on The Sunday Briefing.

His comments came as the Trump administration continued diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching an agreement with Iran, a process that has drawn criticism from some Israeli officials.

Netanyahu insisted that the United States and Israel share the same fundamental goal regarding Iran, even if they may differ on the preferred diplomatic approach.

The Israeli prime minister also emphasized the strength of the U.S.-Israel alliance, saying the two countries share common values and strategic interests.

Netanyahu said the relationship with Trump remains strong and dismissed speculation that disagreements over Iran have created a serious divide between the two leaders.
